Description	:	Ashley Lobo’s involvement in theatre and dance goes back over 30 years and was the inevitable result of being brought up in a very artistic environment. His mother, Celia Lobo, is a well renowned and respected opera singer and theatre personality. While growing up in Bombay, he worked with directors and choreographers like AlyquePadamsee, Krishna Bhargava, Celia Lobo, Karla Singh, Salome Roy Kapoor and others, in several productions like Best of Broadway, Grease, Cascades, They’re Playing Our Song, Cabaret, Evita, etc. He moved to Sydney, Australia in 1989. There he studied dance at the Bodenweiser Dance Centre (under the late Margaret Chapple) and the much-reputed Sydney Dance Company.
